Brežice Water Tower (Visitor Center): The most recognizable icon of the town, standing 46 meters tall. The tower has been fully renovated and offers a beautiful panoramic view of the entire Brežice valley. Tickets are available at the visitor center right next to it.
Brežice Castle and Posavje Museum: Inside this mighty Renaissance castle, you can explore rich archaeological and ethnological collections. The greatest gem is the famous Knight's Hall (Viteška dvorana), which will enchant you with its baroque frescoes. A perfect day trip idea – even on rainy days!
Old Town Center and the Confluence of Sava and Krka: Take a stroll down the picturesque Cesta prvih borcev in the town center, enjoy a coffee or a slice of cake, and then head to the old iron bridge, where you can admire the beautiful confluence of two of our largest rivers.
🌳 Nature and Active Leisure
Sveti Vid Viewpoint (Šentvid): If you are looking for a bit of recreation and the best view of Terme Čatež from above, head up to Sveti Vid. The hike starts in the nearby village of Žejno and takes about half an hour of easy walking through the forest.
Jovsi Nature Park (Kapele): This landscape park along the Sotla River is a true paradise for lovers of unspoiled nature and birdwatchers. Take a stroll along the well-maintained Koščeva educational water trail and enjoy absolute peace.
The Brežice Sea (Accumulation Lake): A well-maintained, multi-kilometer recreational path along the lake's embankment is ideal for a relaxing long walk, jogging, or cycling.
🍷 Unique Experiences You Shouldn't Miss (Bizeljsko Repnice)
- Repnice Wine Cellars in Bizeljsko: This is something you will only find in these parts! These are caves dug into quartz sand that were once used for storing turnips (repa), but today, locals use them to age premium local wines. The ambiance inside the "repnice" is magical, and the tasting of homemade delicacies is unforgettable.

- Mini ZOO Na Jasi (Sela pri Dobovi): Located just a few minutes' drive from the campsite, this is a wonderful park where children can see domestic and exotic animals up close, interact with them, and enjoy well-maintained playgrounds surrounded by nature.
